Tiffany McKinney, a paralegal in our Personal Injury Practice Group, has been named a 2025 South Carolina Women in Business Award Winner. This prestigious recognition celebrates women who demonstrate leadership, excellence, and impact in their professions and communities across the state.
Since joining the firm, Tiffany has become an integral part of the team that helps clients navigate some of life’s most difficult moments. Personal injury cases are often devastating, not just because of the physical trauma involved, but because they threaten a person’s livelihood and stability. From car accidents and workplace injuries to premises liability and catastrophic harm, these cases carry significant consequences for individuals and families.
Tiffany’s work behind the scenes is critical to our ability to deliver positive results for our clients. She has been recognized for immersing herself in the complex world of personal injury law, mastering everything from case management and medical documentation to client communication and settlement negotiation.
But at Bannister, Wyatt & Stalvey, HOW we achieve outcomes matters just as much as the outcome itself. Tiffany exemplifies that belief. She works closely with attorneys and clients at every stage of the personal injury suit process, from gathering facts, managing complex documentation, and ensuring each case is handled with care, precision, and empathy.
“Tiffany doesn’t just support our team and the work that needs to get done. She elevates it by excelling at the fundamentals, while supporting our clients during some of the hardest days of their lives,” said Alex Stalvey, partner and leader of the firm’s Personal Injury Practice Group. “I get to see it every day. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and genuine compassion for people are what make her so deserving of this honor.”
“Just look at our client reviews on Google, her name consistently pops up on our five-star reviews. Tiffany’s leadership, professionalism, and empathy are at the heart of what makes our firm stronger.”
Founded in 1976, Bannister, Wyatt & Stalvey has earned a reputation for legal excellence in Greenville and beyond. The firm handles a broad range of legal matters, including criminal defense, family law, real estate law, business litigation, and personal injury cases. At the heart of every practice area is a simple principle: integrity and client service come first.
Tiffany’s career journey is a testament to determination, adaptability, and a deep sense of purpose. She joined the firm in 2013 as a courier, quickly proving herself to be capable and driven. Her attention to detail and aptitude for problem-solving led her to take on
increasing responsibilities, first in office management and, by 2015, stepping into the role of paralegal at the request of Stalvey.
In the personal injury space, Tiffany plays a vital role in guiding clients through some of life’s most difficult chapters. Whether helping accident victims access medical care, managing insurance hurdles, or simply answering late-night questions with patience and clarity, she ensures clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Tiffany proactively created an internal “Status of Medical Services” system to help the firm track complex medical cases in real-time, and her relationships with medical providers have proven invaluable in securing care and negotiating bills for clients.
Her leadership extends well beyond the firm. Tiffany volunteers at Covenant Church in Greer, participating in outreach efforts and children’s programming like vacation Bible school. Her dedication to helping others, both in the courtroom and in her community, reinforces her commitment to service.
Tiffany is also an inspiration to other women, particularly those balancing motherhood and career in demanding professions. She has shown that success isn’t determined by credentials alone, but by confidence, resilience, and an unshakable commitment to learning and growing. Her ability to thrive in both her personal and professional roles sets a powerful example.
Please join us as we congratulate Tiffany on this accomplishment.
