Managing Partner, Jim Bannister spoke with Jake Tapper on CNN’s The Lead about his role as part of the legal team representing the family of Tiru Chabba in a federal lawsuit filed against OpenAI and its ChatGPT platform in connection with the April 17, 2025, mass shooting at Florida State University.

The lawsuit was filed on May 10, 2026, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
