Bannister, Wyatt & Stalvey Hires New Associate
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Bannister, Wyatt & Stalvey welcomes Richard “Christian” Capps to its award-winning team. Capps recently earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and he will be practicing civil litigation, criminal defense, and family law.
A native of Easley, South Carolina, Capps earned his bachelor’s degree from The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina. Tied to his sense of duty and desire to serve his community, Capps is a commissioned officer in the National Guard and has served for the past five years.

While attending the University of South Carolina School of Law, Capps served as the Technology Editor for the American Bar Association: Real Property, Trust & Estates Law Journal, the Parliamentarian for the Student BAR Association, and the President of the Health Law Society. In addition, Capp’s article, Modern Day Meals on Wheels: The Food Truck Surge, was published in the S.C. Lawyer Magazine in September 2018.
